The LT−8000GT already has a built-in extreme high-frequency GPS antenna. In some conditions, the GPS signal of the LT−8000GT might be weak or obstructed.
Using the external GPS antenna would help to improve the GPS signal receiving.
For the best GPS signal performance, place the device straight up and the upper of the device facing up to the sky.
Some electrical devices, window tint, tinted motorcycle screens may interfere with the GPS signal.
